Phone: 812-333-4726 Doug recently moved to Bloomington from Nashville, Tennessee and joined Hurlow Wealth Management Group in January of 2011 after 13 years in the industry. Doug spent the early part of his career learning to solve complex investment planning and qualified plan issues as part of an institutional team at Morgan Stanley. There, he dealt exclusively with large qualified plans, endowments, and high net worth individuals and families. However, by his own admission, he "didn't get into the business to help turn $200 million into $500 million, but rather to help individuals and families be good stewards of what they have been given." Doug left Morgan Stanley, studied for and acheived the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERtm professional designation, and committed his life to building lifelong relationships in serving individual clients and their families. Doug lives in Bloomington with his wife and their five children. He is a deacon at his church, teaches classes on Biblical Finance and Stewardship, and is currently working on a book dealing with this subject.
